First of all, about man and their earth.
The Earth is not what it seems in the pictures found in books. Our planet is dying from an environmental destruction, but the tools to make this happen came only after the 1800s. Human spent 90% of their existence as hunters and gatherers but in the span of 200 years we’ve deconstructed the only home we’ll ever know from it’s original look. How did we change something so huge in a short amount of time?
One event had caused the biggest chemical change in our atmosphere forever. When we decided that science could be used in warfare, the nuclear bomb was invented. When it launched and took off in 1945, it ended a war but cost the lives of nearly 200,000 and left traces of rare radioactive elements in our air. What was the purpose that drived this bomb until substances never before found in the past millions of years to have appeared?
My questions also concern about what man had done to man.
There was a story in the news in the 2010s about a boy who was rejected by a girl for prom. Days later, he murdered the girl. He thought he owned the girl and her life and death was his responsibilities. At this time, he have sent our men to the moon and women have become prime ministers, but we couldn’t teach our sons he is not entitled to a woman’s body?
But in all my searching, in all my quest for answers, I use the word ‘we’. Because I am the descendant of these people i talk about.
However, imagine yourself pouring a glass of water and you stopped halfway. Is the cup half empty or half full? Continue pouring, then its full or with one hand jerk the water will be spilled. Just like the cup, it parallels our world. With superstition, ignorance, negligence, cruelty and greed, the hope that once was there is left as puddle. But with faith, love, knowledge, passion and compassion, we can lift our world into a glorious future. One over seven billion represents me, and that number is way too small to make a difference, but together, with a bigger number, we found the beauty of life, To let us succeed in it, or Die trying.
