Oh my where to start?
Next, the service. As mentioned above, the staffs were willing to listen and patiently cater to your needs, then tend to your requests with a smile (there are cute staffs too). Very accurate with their explanations and apologizes for their mistakes if any. Definitely winning lots of points for best service café reviewed. (Sorry Tappers, as much as I like your service, your dish is too cool for me. #punintended) P.S. In case you wonder who or what is Tappers, click HERE.
And lastly, food and pricing. Well, a café is something you will not expect to be cheap, yet Paddles and Beans is pretty reasonable. The food here is, if anything, great and satisfying. Their Salted Egg Burger is definitely a must try. Patty coated with salted egg, I do not know the person who thought of this, but this guy is my friend already because it’s two of my favorite things together.
There’s also the Club Sandwich and Chicken Chop. Very well made, the sauces used are extremely savory and tangy, yet the serving is just right so that you will not feel overwhelmed by it. Ingredients used are top notch and the combination is simply marvelous.
7/10 (Maybe 8/10 when less crowded)
7/10 (It’s a 9/10 if you’re already working, but students can’t afford this daily)
Editor’s note: According to the owner, it should be noted that all the ingredients for the food are freshly made, including the sauces for the burgers. (Yes Wayne, your beloved Salted Egg gravy is homemade) The iced lemon tea is also one of a kind!
