Worried that your qualms are not being heard or that there is no outlet in which you can express your concerns? Worry not because a vigilante group of sorts are patrolling the MMU campus ensuring that no stone is left unturned as far as campus issues go. The group I speak of is no other than the Student Representative Council of MMU Malacca.
Last week several members of SRC organized a session in which they went around the campus speaking to students and staff members on any and every issues they may have on the running of the campus on a whole. The purpose of this was to firstly engage with students and gain feedback on their level of satisfaction with the university. Among the aspects covered during the campus tour were the maintenance and upgrading of facilities, student welfare, the handling of academics as well as customer satisfaction.
In addition to that, SRC also approached the Ixora Apartment management with the aim off discussing the recent sudden evacuation to tenants who were unbeknownst to their impending homelessness.
This all of course goes to show that there is indeed always an outlet in which students can rely on with regard to campus issues. For any enquiries do proceed to the SRC office located at the Plaza Siswa building next to CIMB.
