Get ready people because this weekend our campus is gearing up to take one step towards curing world hunger one empty stomach at a time. You guessed right! This Sunday 30th of July, our campus will be host to the 30 Hour Famine initiative aimed at raising funds as well as awareness as to the growing plague of hunger and poverty around the world.
From not having enough money to provide food and water to families as well as not having a clean source of water within miles of their villages, the rapidly increasing issue of world hunger is one that needs to be addressed and combated now and only now.
It should also be noted that while the said camp will be kicking off here on the MMU Malacca campus, it will be continuing the next day at the Shah Alam Stadium Malawati where participants all around Malaysia will be gathering for the closing ceremony.
