The event was conducted mostly in Mandarin by the emcee, Jing, with the occasional English by the co-emcee, Priscilla. During the first half of the event, there were altogether 4 instrumental performances and 2 choir performances. The music performed were a mixture of Australian folk song, modern Taiwan and Singaporean pop medleys and a few fast-paced songs.
As of now, the Chinese Orchestra Society has 6 instrument classes, namely erhu, liuqin, dizi, cello and percussion. They also have a choir class for vocal enthusiasts. So if any of these classes interests you, you know where to go!
