The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student competition for the creation of new social business and the ultimate prize is 1 million dollars in start-up money. 1 MILLION DOLLARS.
So the student spearheading this movement from MMU is our very own Fahim Shahriar. You might recognize him as one of our candidates for the past SRC Presidential Campaign. As campus director for this movement he is looking forward to working with an exceptional team that will dedicate the next few months to help you create inspiring solutions. Over the years he has organized many big events and this time he is taking Hult Prize in a whole new level.
Also, we have Rangdhanu Group Sdn Bhd to thank as our primary sponsors who will be contributing RM 5000 to the cause.
That being said here are a few things to keep an eye out for, namely marketing campaigns and roadshows all around MMU. His target goal is to get as many students to participate. The more students come in the more ideas and the greater the chance of solving current social problems. TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK.
Take note that the quality of the ideas that you bring to the table will also be at play so get them thinking caps on people! In moving towards that goal workshops will be conducted by Cyberview MMU’s official campus training partner. Also planned is a networking session for students to facilitate the grouping process among those who are eager to participate but are having trouble finding groups.
So everyone to recap here are the things that are to some;
- Campaign’s First Event in Cyberjaya – 22nd November 2017
- Campaign’s First Event in Malacca – 29th November 2017
- Marketing campaigns
- Workshop sessions
- Networking Sessions
