Once again our MMU boys geared up to defend their team boundaries. Once again our MMU students gathered to cheer on the brave defenders.
On the 9th of December at the Main Hall, Mogesh Kumar from MMU’s Indian Cultural Society brought to action this semesters Kabaddi tournament. At 8:30 in the morning the welcoming speech by the event director, Mogesh himself was given. He graciously thanked all present, guest of honours, all dignitaries and all that lent their support to this event. He stated that the objective of working hard to make this event come to life was to raise the status of the Indian Cultural Society towards the undergraduate’s interaction, socialization as well as intellectual development portal. This is of course second to harnessing the passion and talent within the young Indian community.
After hours on the field sweating it out, Thalaivaa’s emerged the champions sticking true to their team name. With the Last Benchers following at 2nd place and Peru Vekkale at a strong 3rd placing. Congratulations to you all!
At the end of the day it was clear to everyone present that the goals that ICS set out to achieve were met. There was indeed an admirable display of unity, sportsmanship, passion as well as respect for an age old part of the Indian culture.
Hats off to everyone involved in this successful event.
