YILC is mainly focused for the future leaders from the Indian community who are pursuing their tertiary studies. This convention has been held for three days from 30th October till 1st November. About 250 participants from 30 universities and colleges participated. This took the event to a whole new level. This convention is an exclusive event whereby the participants were handpicked based on their capabilities. The main motif of this event is to look on the leaders from the participating institutions and also to fine tune the existing potentials of the participants.
A few highly influenced and well-known speakers gave motivational speeches and there were also many teamwork anticipating activities held during on this convention.
Great teamwork and communication between the participants was created. Amidst many positive reviews, a participant highlighted that topics discussed were of current issues and she was glad to see Indian students being interested to be future leaders and are empowering themselves to inspire others through this programme. When asked about the output they are looking for upon the end of this event, one of their organising committee, T. Turuvandran, said they are looking forward to the participants to develop good leadership skills together with a strong team building.
YILC is a great attempt by the organizer and it is also notable that it is a great success and had received positive reviews from everyone who worked for the committee as well as the participants. Congratulations to KBIBB and PKGM for working together and make this programme a massive success.
